At the moment my family of Pilot's watches is my largest: four, against three Portuguese watches. That both families are among the most popular here is no surprise. But I guess the members of my Pilot's family are not mainstream, yet I like them quite a bit.

On the picture below you see them in order of age from left to right. First, the rose gold Saint Exupéry Chronograph (2006), then the Vintage Collection Pilot's watch (2009), the Spitfire Chronograph (2012), and finally my new Worldtimer (2014). I guess, this is it for the forseeable future.

    Kind regards,
    Paul

    Paul,

I also have the Spitfire Chrono. Wonderful watch!

Is your spitfire on a bracelet? If so, how do you like it over the standard strap? I have been thinking about getting a bracelet for mine.

    Thanks

A lot of my watches are on strap. I wanted an extra watch on bracelet with which I could walk (not hike) in the mountains without damaging the straps because of sweat and sun tan oil: together with dust that becomes a sticky matter that on a bracelet is easier to remove. As the bracelet for the Spitfire Chrono has a micro adjustment feature, also handy in the mountains when your wrist swells up a bit after some time, and that bracelet looks fantastic also when combined with the ardoise sunburst dial, this bracelet was a must right from the start. I can highly recommend it, both the bracelet and the watch.

    Kind regards,
    Paul

Awesome collection of pilots watches mate. Love all the them. Especially the St Exup. I'm yet to get my first in the pilots line. The CF3 is going to fix that.

    Cheers,

    Jarrod

Thank you Paul. I will take a close look at the bracelet when I am up in Las Vegas next month.

looks great Paul, the Saint Exupéry is beautiful...what I think would be cool is to see all the 4 in dark...I think the luminescence would look amazing..
    cheers,

Here you see the four watches in darker circumstances, after they were charged with light to show the lume. I myself am not quite impressed by the pictures, but the lume of the watches holds reasonably well. The best by far in this respect is the Vintage Collection Pilot's watch: this less than popular watch keeps scoring points with me. The Worldtimer is doing quite well, as does the Spitfire, I used both while travelling and they told me time quite well during the night.

    Kind regards,
    Paul
