The Portuguese/Portugieser was the watch that ignited my appreciation for IWC. Lusted after IW371445 for quite a while... tried it on my wrist, but somehow I couldn't pull the trigger. Went after the 5009 first (and rightfully so. Love that piece to bits). Fast forward to a couple of weeks ago, IWC did an Apple and quietly shipped these out to dealers ready for sale immediately after the announcement. That blue dial is even more stunning than what the renders show. Haven't seen that many photos of it online before deciding on picking it up. Hopefully this lets future owners decide. I let go of a couple of pieces in my collection for this one; I have to say I'm very glad that I did.
