Further to MF's post dated 22.12.2008, having lurked on this forum for some years, I thought I'd introduce myself and share a few more photos of the watch which I purchased at auction back in December. Schaffhausen have confirmed that the case serial number matches their records for one of the last produced ref. 325 (cal. 982) Portugiesers, delivered during 1979 - 1981. As MF stated previously, on close examination some subtle differences can be seen in the dial (particularly the small seconds sub-dial) compared with the 1997 Jubilee Portugieser. I haven't yet visited my watchmaker to have the caseback removed, so no movement pics to share yet. The watch will be visiting Schaffhausen sometime soon for authentication. Hope you enjoy the pics.
