Tracy,
It was privilege to meet up with you after reading your posts over the years. Let's hope it's not too long before you're back again.
Kind regards,
Ralph

Aloha Norbert -
I was really hoping that I would meet up with you, a fellow Big Pilot enthusiast, at SIHH this year.
After all, this was IWC's Year of the Pilot Watch and we all know that you're such a Big Pilot fan that you've had a huge custom-framed poster of the Big Pilot 5004 hanging in your home for years now!
I'm sorry we didn't meet up at SIHH but I hope that we'll hook up some time in the near future.

Tracy,
Pleased to meet up with you finally after all the email correspondences. Thanks for the t-shirt as well. I thought it was a nice gesture from you!
I enjoy reading your report very much, thank you!
Tracy,
thanks for the report, it was great to meet you finally.
Hello Tracy,
good to see that you arrived home without any comlications.
In former times I didn't post here in the English speaking and writing forum after the German forum was closed, because my English is not as good to understand all, you know. And posts written in German would have been deleted very soon... You may discuss, but I have to agree with it...
Also for me it was a very great pleasure and honor to have you met in Geneva! I was very happy!
Thank you for the great discribtion of your watch-journey and for the photos!
Yes, Thorsten is the best travelguide you can ever imagine. Last year he guided me in Geneva in the same friendly way. And I hope so he does the next year. ;-)
Greatings from the South of Germany,
Marcus

Such a nice report. But one thing I don't get: The IWC German Forum is still organized, although officially offline? If so, by whom? Alexandre Lintz, on behalf of IWC? Can you tell us more, as I would like to meet the "old" experts of the brand once, they have completely vanished from the scene since last summer...
Thanks Tracy! I sure would have loved to meet you and all the others from around the world, especially with all these great pilot watches launched this year. Maybe I get lucky next year or otherwise I might still find a good reason to visit Hawaii in the near future. You never know ;-)
Regards
Norbert
Lalelu --it's nothing on behalf of IWC. I wish Tracy hadn't posted some of this only because it, presumably inadvertently, might reopen old wounds of some. That wasn't intended I would think, but perhaps you can write him --or he you, if you leave your e-mail address-- to explain further.
My only goal is to carry out IWC's instructions to me, by bringing together as many IWC collectors as possible with one forum and in one language. By the way, 25 per cent of those collectors invited through this forum were from Germany or Switzerland, which certainly was intended as representative. Several are real experts too.
Thanks for your understanding.
Aloha Roberto -
Glad to finally meet you - I recognized you immediately because of your trademark scarf!
I had two goals to accomplish at SIHH: 1) to look at beautiful watches; and 2) to see your lovely girlfriend in person!
Next time please bring your girlfriend. (LOL)
Dear Tracy,
it was a great pleasure for me to finally meet you in person. What a fantastic bonus for me to finally making it to SIHH after not being an active member of IWC's online community any more.
From your post it becomes obvious that this event was worth your long trip. That makes me happy.
SIHH is about watches, but another very important aspect is meeting friends. You introduced me to Nelson. I found no opportunity to talk with other IWC-forumers. Maybe the next time.
Aloha
Andreas
Aloha Marcus -
It was great meeting you and the others!
I apologize for not saying "good bye" to you on Friday - I was so tired from SIHH and the dinner that I slept late that day even though there was much more that I wanted to do.
I'm spending a few days in Tokyo to relax a bit before heading back to Honolulu.
Aloha Andreas -
I agree and I was very, very glad to finally meet you in person - have a lot of laughs - and to see your limited edition platinum perpetual.
I hope we meet up again!
Aloha KS -
I'm sure that we'll meet up in Waikiki soon!
Ralph -
Great meeting up with you.
You beat me in the Timezone masthead photo contest with your great picture but I'm going to give you a run for your money in the next contest!
Aloha Tracy!
Glad to see you had such a Great Time meeting all the new Pilot's
watches and friends from the English and German language forums.
Best,
-Joe
PS, the photo of you and Al is a keeper for sure.

Aloha Joe -
I was really hoping that you would be at SIHH since you have a handful of pilot watches including two Big Pilots and a Top Gun - maybe next year...
Because of your beautiful photos and because you were/are a regular contributor on both forums, members of the Forum and the former German Forum asked me about you and all your Big Pilot photos and your trademarked multiple-ardoise reflection shots!
Yes, it was a great time seeing watches and meeting friends!
I wish you could have been there.
-Tracy
Tracy,
thanks for your great report, does your collection has only BP watches?
