It was a great pleasure for me to meet you finaly in person. With great respect for this long haul journey, my curiosity was incredible to see you.
I told my son – the evening bevor – that I'm going to have dinner with you, while I did show him some pics of you ;-) He was stunned likewise me. We both just love your "Bühler" !
As you know, I'm a huge fan of Hawaii ! One day, I will visit this beautiful place so I only need to work harder to convice my dear wife for this trip. I'm working on it ! LOL

Finaly to get the chance to have dinner with you and the other (German forum members) was great (Thorsten, many thanks again). I'm looking forward to the next time, just let me know via David or Thorsten.

Your report was great, I'm always excited for your posts on the forum and especially the super high quality pictures. I would have liked a little more time with you talking, but the program was hectic so not enough time for everything. I hope you can spend a great time in Hong Kong, meet more collectors and come home safely.

It was great to meet you and have dinner with all of you. Yes, there was not enough time to talk!

As Andreas mentioned in his post, it would have been nice if the two groups could have met but I know for a fact that the scheduling for both groups made this difficult - a shame really because I know that both groups would have enjoyed the interaction. For example, I immediately recognized Leon Berger from Austria in your group because he was featured in WATCH Magazine about five years ago!

When you visit Hawaii I will give your son a ride in the same car that Magnum used to drive.

Mahalo for your gift too - I'll use it in a picture sometime - I'm always looking for props for my pictures.

Speaking of pictures, I was introduced to a watch executive from another brand and when he found out I was from Hawaii he asked me if I knew the guy who posts all the "strange" pictures on various forums with a hula girl logo. I was going to invoke my right to remain silent but I decided to plead guilty as charged and we had a good laugh.
