my top gun chronograph is losing 8 sec a day is that a good indication of service

hello just picked up a iwc top gun chrono 378901 circa 2009 .absolutly love it. however it seems to be losing 8sec aday. is it time to send it in.also does iwc polish the ceramic case to eliminate the mare marks on the case

you mean send it for service . its a great watch.its most definitely a keeper.
