I'm a new member, to this forum.
I hope that you will enjoy my post.
Please feel free to pass on any comments about the 2 watches that I'm about to mention.
Firstly, please let me apologise for having NO photos.
I'm looking at buying one of these two IWC's
    1) The older style Da Vinvi Perpetual Calendar/Chronograph.
    2) The Portuguese Perpetual Calendar.
Yesterday I visited an AD, who showed me my no.2 choice which was in R/G (model no.502119)
And I had to say that I was totally blown away by the watch, it was, dare I say one of the most beautiful watches that I have seen and tried on.
And It was so big as well.

But unfortunately I don't think that I will be able to afford it,even if I sell one or two of my other watches.

While I was there they also showed me a couple of their Patek watches.
As I have never looked at them before.
Though they are beautiful watches again they are above my "pay scale"

In total I was their for just over 2 hours, a thoroughly enjoyable experience and one that I hope to repeat again in 2 weeks - see below.

    Regarding, choice no.1
I'm going to see a brand new S/S model in a couple of weeks time, at another.
The AD has kindly placed it in the safe for me.Until I can get to see it.
Now if I decide to buy it. I'm hoping to persuade a fellow watch fan to take some photos of it, so that I can place it on the forum.
Sorry once again for the lack of photos.

The stainless DaVinci Perpetual is very nice...

This is the most affordable, and durable perpetual calendars available - if you can still find them NEW. I believe that the DaVinci Perpetual dial, and case size was updated in 2005 from 39mm case to 41.5mm case. See the link below....
