Forum Family,
Does anyone know if there is/was a leather Croc strap available that will fit the new 40mm Inge ? I only see it offered in bracelet form.
Thanks,
Andy

Hi Andy,
There is a Black rubber strap (IWIWA66279) and pin-buckle (IWIWA63813).
No other straps yet.
Leo
Leo - does that strap have an "inlay" of some kind, like the other rubber straps for new Inges?
It is 'Jet Black'..no inlay
Leo,
Thanks for the information. Can you advise if this reference rubber strap is specific to the new Inge? The reason I ask is to find out if the thickness of the strap is proportionately correct for the 10mm thin height of the watch.
As always...appreciate your help.
Andy
Yep, it is Only for the new model.
Oh Goody !! This ensures that my first non Vintage Inge will give me the option of bracelet or strap. Knowing it was produced for the new 40mm, I feel confident that it will look proportionately correct.
Can't wait to see it in the metal/rubber. Hoping the new model arrives soon. Anxious to try it on.
Thanks Leo for the good news ! My wallet was starting to get a bit heavy, so this should take care of that problem.
Regards,
Andy
Andy --do check with a dealer first. Originally, IWC was going to produce the watch with a rubber strap or bracelet, and then right before SIHH decided on a bracelet only. I can't tell if they are offering the strap separately or the strap was included in an internal list before they decided to change the product was offered.
Thanks Michael for the behind the scenes information. I will indeed make sure to verify what currently is on the "available" list.
I can only hope that both options would be in the cards as it might limit sales for those who prefer one or the other ( or both like me ). Of course, there is always the after market for straps, but for me, I try to stay IWC from head to toe if possible.
One of the highlights/benefits of this Forum is the support from it's leader and IWC "associates" like Leo and Jack who handle the goods in real life and can share their expertise with us members. No place else provides this level of communication and knowledge. In addition, we can't forget all the members who process so much information and passion for IWC. Who could ask for a better team ?
Had to get that out..thanks for reading everyone.
