New 5 Series

I went to my AD this weekend after a significant hiatus since my last IWC purchase (2012 to be exact). Not that I haven't wanted to purchase another but kids in private school, house improvements etc. have gotten in the way. Good fortune, however, has allowed me to be in the position to acquire another piece. It's a piece that I have thougth about for almost 10 years and finally decide to pull the trigger. Since I recently upgraded my 5-series vehicle I thought it only appropriate that I get a matching watch in the ref. 5 series IWC. I receive the watch today but couldn't wait to share...

Yeah, I thought hard about the 500916 and almost bought it while on a trip to Lisbon. However, I settled on the 500912....hard choice but I decided on the classic black in the end. Both beautiful and bold watches.
