The GST Perpetual chrono has been my favorite office watch for years. The size, weight and bracelet are perfect. I have always been drawn to more "complicated" dials of the perpetual and split second chronograph. Recently I find myself favoring the clean lines of the Ingenieur line. The Big Ingenieur had a great feel on the wrist and I love the strap and bracelet options. The less busy dial is fantastic and I do love the spectator back (although I understand the debate over this not being a "real" Ing without the soft iron cage) showcasing the 5000 series movement. Luckily I spend my days removed from magnetic fields : ). The GST is now fighting for wrist time. Many forum members have been wearing this watch for years, so there is not much more to say except it is better to be a little late to the party than to miss it altogether.
    Jeff

Congratulations. Very nice Ingenieur. Wear it in good health. I am still on the waiting side with regards to an Ingenieur, but the more I look at them, the more I am asking myself why to wait.

Tracy, I have been admiring your photos of the Big Ing for years! You are partially to blame for this purchase!!

Handsome pair, Jeff. You've got a lot of heavy metal there.

Congratulations Jeff, that's a beauty! I tried this model with a leather strap but it was too big for my wrist. I prefer it on the bracelet, it looks very sharp! Enjoy and wear it in good health.

    Kind regards,

    Clemens

Thanks Clemens. I love the bracelet as well. I may try it on a brown strap for fun.

Does it come on the bracelet or is that off the ME? Current catalog only shows leather I thought
