New Aquatimer

I have had my new aquatimer for five months now , but i have a question when i wear the watch it runs fine +4 secs every 24hr but i also have another watch that i wear , if i then come back to the aquatimer after a day or two of not wearing it , it has lost time about 5-10 secs is this because i have not been wearing the watch for a period or do i have a problem with it , i read somewhere that the 2892-a2 movement likes to be used and does not suit being stood still which this 30110 is based,the watch is Aquatimer 2000m white face thanks Dean

All mechanical watch movements:

a) are position dependent -that is, if they stay in one position or another they can be slightly faster or slower
b) are wind dependent --that is, the accuracy slightly differs as the mainspring unwinds (that is called isochronism error)

There is much about this in the archives and also elsewhere on the Net (especially the excellent articles about watch movements by Walt Odets). Usually positional and iscohronism variations are small, and that includes what you've reported.

I personally wouldn't spend a lot of time timing my watch to the seconds.
