I'd work hard to find the split minute. THey are out there, although very few in number. What an amazing and unique timepiece.
(not my pic, but a good one)

The new AT 2000 is intriguing, but I have to agree with Larry.
Hi Bas! Good to 'see' you again! Though I'm typically more into the older models, in this case the new AT appeals more to me than the GST. But next year is Aquatimer year at SIHH so maybe wait....???!!!
Personally I'd sell the 3568, save as long as it takes and go for what you really desire: Deep One !
Best,
Bob
Hi Bob,
where did your take the info from about 2018 being an Aquatimer year? If the turnover time is constant then the Aquatimer year will be 2019: 2004: 3719, 2009: 3767, 2014: 3768 (ref. numbers of the chronograph versions).
But 2017 could well be an Aquatimer year as the very first Aquatimer hit the market in 1967 - so exactly 50 years ago. SIHH brought us the new Da Vinci line but - as the "high season" of the divers might be the summertime, we might expect something out of Pandora's Box just before - or around Baseltime, just as some brands exhibiting in Basel has some news for the public just around SIHH. Just my two cents anyway...
As I always have to tell: if a minor but important update/upgrade is to be expected the Aquatimers (e. g. the 3768) should get the quick micro adjust clasp for the bracelet and the rubber has to have a folding clasp, but if a major new model is to come, a 41-42 mm Aquatimer day-date chronograph without the thingy at 9 - and the micro-adjust clasp of course... :)
Best,
Robert
Roberto, that's what I heard multiple times at SIHH two weeks ago, but ask Tonny, he can confirm I guess?
Best,
Bob
Thx Bob, I know nothing special, I was only counting - but factory planning might over-write all these countings... :) Anyone else to chime in? Might be a tad too early to ask but still... Tonny maybe? :)
Thx all for Advice!
