    Saved up Some cash..
Not enough for the ONE (as in DEEP ONE) but Perhaps I can get a split minute one day.. now looking for a GST IW3707 white Dial or a AT white Dial IW3290
because they are both significant different from the ones in the box..
I still have troubles doing this good in one time... but here are the pics
    Collection now:

    First of all, Nice collection!

Do you have saved enough to buy a new box? Otherwise you have a problem!

My choice would be the AT. Newer model, nice rubber strap and in my opinion more “ different” then the GST and rest of your collection.

Have you thought about the AT IW329005 Edition Cousteau?
Nice blue dial and engraved caseback! Price almost the same as the white one.
I did see this one in real, and the blue is more beautiful than in the pictures.

    Succes, Joep.

Joep, that's a fine collection of ATs you have there. I'm loving the orange strap, is that original IWC?

As to your dilemma, I would choose the newer AT. That particular GST has never really stood out for me. The newer white AT has a very clinical, no-nonsense look to it - as though it was made for professional diving, which appeals to me personally.

    All the best,
    Doug

If I'm not mistaken you have another variant of the GST Chrono Automatic in there already. I had that same white dial model so I can attest to it being a great piece. However, I also have the newer model of aquatimer you're considering, albeit the JYC Chrono version. The rubber straps are a huge improvement over prior models, they're super comfortable and they have great wrist presence. My vote would be your second option, although the blue dial I agree should be in contention. It's a stunner.

Why don't you wait until the new Aquatimer chrono with the inhouse day-date chrono caliber 69xxx appears? Hopefully it won't be larger than 42 mm and the thingy from 9 o'clock will disappear.

Very nice AT collection in a very nice IWC watchbox (where can we get those???)!

I like the newer Automatic better. Checked it on my wrist too:

Or, maybe you could add some titanium to the mix? I believe this is due this year!

The Aquatimer 2000 (titanium) is also very beautiful but very thick, 20.5 mm and a case diameter of 46 mm. In my opinion not really easy to wear.
But on the picture it looks really nice!

Is it using the standard 42mm case still?

Nah, this is the same as the 3290 series. Diameter of 42mm. I don't know thickness.

From what I read, same diameter - different material, of course.

It is a little confusing. In de description on WatchBase you can read “ water density is 300 meters and built in 2014 “ . But according to me it is not yet released!

When you look at the rubber strap it looks like the strap from the current 2000 mtr model.
I can still find little information about the watch.
We will have to wait for more details of IWC I'm afraid.

Hrmm... why, why would IWC redesign the current line of titanium aquatimer 2000? are they in their right mind?

argh. Please don't tell me they plan to make a titanium bracelet for this as well... I don't think my wallet can take any further damage... please, take this photo away from me. I will pretend I have never seen it. arrrggghhh...

I'd work hard to find the split minute. THey are out there, although very few in number. What an amazing and unique timepiece.
