First post here although I have been reading for sometime. I am finally about to receive a much awaited IWC Pilot Chrono 3706. It has the deployment style strap at present and I would like to have the option of having a bracelet for it. I've read many good reports of the IWC bracelets which is adding to this desire!

I've seen a bracelet from a MkXVI and as the cases are both 39mm and the lug widths 20mm I was hoping that it might fit. Can anyone confirm this please?

    Thanks in advance

    Neil

As previously posted by Leo (IWC Service Centre London) the 3706 bracelet is reference number 1WA13653 and should be able to be ordered by an AD. Sorry, I don't know whether the MkXVI would fit.

    Hi Neil,

welcome to the forum, THE place for IWC fans!
    The bracelet is fantastic.
The MkXVI bracelet could/should probably fit your Pilots Chrono 3706 - a terrific watch - , but I wouldn't be completely sure about that.
Maybe you can go to an AD where they could try it out before ordering. If there's a watchmaker an they got it on stock or another watch, it hopefully shouldn't be a big thing. Sometimes you find the original bracelets on the web too.
Enjoy your cool new old watch with whatever strap / bracelet.

welcome Neil! Also check out www.weeber.biz (have some patience till the smiley dissapears) and do a workbook search on 3706. You'll find the original dealer handbook pages with reference numbers!

Welcome to the Forum with the lovely 3706, it's a great watch.
Lease post pics when you receive it.

As David says, the original bracelet is still available so this is the one you should get.

    Hi Neil,
The MKXVI bracelet won't fit. The 3706 bracelet is only interchangeable with model 3251, Pilots UTC.
