Finally picked up this watch, after looking at it for a year and a half. Finally found an IWC AD who gave me a great deal.

Been wanting this watch for awhile. 46mm. In-house movement with pelleton winding system, and integral shock absorbtion design. Anti-Magnetic case. Bought it about 4 weeks ago. Has not left the wrist since. The Explorer IIs have been getting a rest.

Bought with the Rubber strap. I cannot say enough things about how comfortable on the wrist this watch wears. Though large and heavy, wears much better than the 47mm Paneria 372 I have. The Ingenieur's rubber straps just flows into the case, and is the highest quality rubber strap on any watch I have seen. It flex when it should, expands when it should, yet is firm enough to keep the watch in place. No play at all.

Watch looks great and the dial is very visible. Pics really do not do this watch justice, when I first saw the photos of one I was so-so. But when seeing in person and trying on the wrist, was totally sold!

Truly, as the advertising says, a watch engineered for men - made for adventure and exploration in all climates.

Oh how good to read this, congratulations on this really fine timepiece.
The rubber strap wears perfect, I was a bit iffy before as well but it deserves an A1+, really top quality.

Sometimes the wait is worth it - this is one of those times :-)

Enjoy and wear in good health.
