My first look and touch with the latest to join the family, can't wait for it to arrive at my AD.

The blues are very close in hue between last year's and the new model.

IMHO are real winner for IWC and the Laureus Foundation.

Hope you like as much as I do. Alan a blue dial!

The best part was when Kim gave us the watch for our perusal and then she had to take a call. We moved over to a spot inside the IWC venue and when she came ack looking for us the look on her face was priceless when she could not locate us.

Ahhhh, you'll just have to wait.

It looks quite nice, although I prefer the white dial version on the mesh bracelet. I might have bought it last summer if I hadn't just bought the Portofino handwound eight days. By the way, the date is skew; the day is straight.

    Kind regards,
    Paul

Nice shot Kevin. I know how much blue means to you after spending time with you. Hope you get your watch soon! Good luck.

Nice watch, really... But it looks almost black. Is it darker than the other Laureus editions?

Actually it looked very blue. There was something in the lighting at SIHH which seemed to filter out blue.

    Kevin,
I did not know that the new Laureus was already shown in Geneva ! At least in our presentation (ex german forum members), the IWC staff knew nothing about it after our question for the new model. The only thing they have told us was, that it would be a portofino, but not which one ? Strange, I would gladly have seen the new model. Well, thanks to show the pics ;-) Daniel

It was in the outside display window to the right of the IWC portal for everyone to see. You probably missed it because , due to the lighting, the dial appeared to be black.
