New member - hoping for some help!

Greetings everyone!

I'm new to the IWC world and have to say this forum is great - tons of info and alot of incredible watches. I was hoping for a little help... A while back I received this watch as a present and just wanted to get some info on it. I've been wearing it for quite some time but never looked into it. I stumbled across this forum and am starting to fall in love with the IWC brand. All I was told was that it's from Portuguese series. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I'll let someone else break the news to you. I'll say, however, that I'm glad it is a "limited edition", preferably of one.

I am sorry to say, but this a very bad fake IWC. I may be corrected, but is a bad concoction between a Portugiese and a Pilots watch, per the back inscription. Sorry for the bad news.

I hope you will have the opportunity to visit an authorized IWC dealer and acquire a genuine IWC. the Portugiese is a fantastic IWC.

That's a strange fake - the subdials are really odd. Too bad for the OP.

I remember a few of these.

You know the old saying....

"Here today, Gone today"

No doubt we will see this one for sale on some action site as a authentic, rare, limited edition "Portilot" with a asking price out of this world - lets just hope that the account on the auction site gets deleted as quick as the one here did.
