I have been given an IWC pocket watch. It is silver with an open face. From the serial number it dates around 1922. I have not been able to find one with this type of second hand. It is a half hand with a closed circle not a point.

Thanks to anyone that can help.

    Thanks CELLAR!

It does not match any of the images. It is a half hand with a circle, no point on the loop or circle.

    Hi Safetyman,

A photo would help, but also keep in mind that hands sometimes were replaced during servicing.

If you mean that there's a full circle at the tip, I haven't seen that before. I have seen half-circles.

I just emailed you a photo of the watch to your email address.

    Thank you,
