    Dear readers,

I have a question concerning my Portugese Chronograph bought in 2013.

I get a bit more of a 1 minute advance everyweek. Is that normal.

Of course, I know automatic watches can speed up or slow down, but 1 minute every week seems a lot.

What do you guys think about this ?

    Best regards,

    Hello dlm,

I believe the IWC standard is 0 to 8 seconds fast per week, you are on the upper end of that.

You can try to find a resting position overnight where the watch runs a bit less fast.

In the mean time, enjoy your watch and wear it in good health. A picture would be nice too :-)

    Kind regards,

    Clemens

    Hey Clemens,

Did you mean per day ? If correct, then DLM would be in pretty good shape. Apologies if I'm off on this.

I too would like a pic to see which Chrono, 3714 or 3904. Either way, love them both.

Oops, it is indeed per day! Thanks for noticing.

    Kind regards,

    Hi both of you,

    Thank you for your answers.
I've heard about the 7sec fast a day.
I would therefore be just a bit above.
    I need to check again.
I'll keep you posted (with a pict).

    Regards,
