Hi all. I just purchased a new IWC Portofino and love it. I have a number of other watches that i also wear and rotate them. So here is my question. When i am not wearing my Portofino I put it into my watch winder. I noticed that the watch will ultimately stop and that the watch winder really doesn't impact the winding. Not sure why? I have two other Rolex's in the watch winder and they seem to keep perfet time and not lose complete power like the IWC.

Leave the rolexes in the winder and just keep wearing your IWC..
    Problem solved.
    Cheers

    Hahahaha! The best solution!

Perhaps the winder is too slow to wind the movement? I don't have such problems with mine.

is it a programmable watch-winder (i.e. direction of turning, and number of turns per day)? different watch movements have different winding requirements. you can check a database such as this for further details.

    regards,
