Got it this morning and I am now calm enough to type and take pictures. One of my new 5444 and one next to my 3714.
    Good times!

Breathe easy now. Maybe wear one on each wrist?

Congratulations. The stress is now relieved until the next one.

    Wear it in good health.

    congratulations! and one question....

I'm just curious, as a non-Regulateur-owner (at least yet) whether it took you any time to adapt to the different dial and, if so, how long. I talked recently to a senior executive in Schaffhausen who said that it sometimes takes a week.

Just curious --but it's a great watch. It represents horology.

    Congratulations,
    Michael
P.S. As a welcome gift here, feel free to e-mail me your postal mailing address and I'll send you an IWC magazine (Watch International) . I don't know if I have any prior Regulateur issues left, but I'll check.

    congratulations! and one question....

    Hi Michael
I have found it quite easy so far. It is certainly different from a regular face but I think that's why I was / am so obsessed with it.
However, a few people at work found it very hard to read.
I think on a normal face you probably look at the hour hand first and then the minute hand, whereas on this face your eye is drawn to the minute hand as it is so large.
To be honest with you, if I could never tell the time from it I would still have bought it. I think the face is fascinating.
Thanks for the offer of Watch International, but I have been here for about 4 months now and probably don't qualify.

    Great choice! >>

This IWC has turned out to be my most worn watch that never bores me. It is a true classy classic!

I know you will enjoy it for a long time if you let it! Many congratulations and enjoyment.

    Thanks Nicky.
I have collected watches for quite some time now and some stay and most get swapped but under no circumstances will either of the IWC's go. I'm hooked.
