So the news is out - the new IWC Boutique in Zurich opened its doors:
I am sad that the excellent service and the very personal care I got by the "old" boutique and a famous meeting point for many loyal friends of the brand most probably will come to an end, as I do not think that 2 boutiques in a 100 feet radius makes sense. It is time for a change - good luck, IWC!

You give up too easily. Let's give it a chance. All the new boutiques I have visited have brought the level of customer service up, not down.

Cool. Am going to be in Zuerich for business reasons first week of October and certainly will give a visit to the new Boutique.
If anybody is around in Zuerich on October 1st, I am more than happy to meet and have a small CTG.
Unfortunately, neither my Chinese nor my Russian is good enough to start a decent conversation with the staff there LOL
