Newly arrived IWC MK11 RAF then for comparison with RAAF issue. The iconic pilots watch of all time? regards Ian.

    One word - Nice!

Actually three words, "nice, very nice!"

I see Antonio being motivated to new heights (if that is possible) in his quest to complete the series on his side.

Thanks for sharing - cant wait to see 3.

Love the broad arrow on the right dial. Just looks cool to me for some reason.

    Two great watches, Ian.
I particularly like the RAF post '63 with the circled T for Tritium (Thanks António!), and also the broad arrow as Alan pointed out.

    Cheers.

I agree that these two Mark XI with the Caliber 89 are the most iconic pilots watches ever produced. In the modern world, you have your run of the mill Bell and Ross BR-series, over priced Breitling Navitmer Automatic and hard to service Vintage Glycine Airmen of the Vietnam War Era.

Nothing beats the original ultimate pilots watch.

    Kind regards,
    Simon

Very nice. Enjoy them. The design is probably the most copied of all time.
But ours have the cal. 89 in them, that can't be copied.
