It seems that Regulateur has left our forum, this must be one of his last posts. It is nice to see that he had fun until the end of his membership!

Aaaaah - I'm going to miss the fun......!!
A friend of mine picked up my 48mm Heritage big pilot late yesterday. Apologies for the quality of the pic. Will post better pics shortly when I have it in hand.

Fantastic!!!
Can't wait to see more pics.
Congratulations
Took some pics this afternoon. Such a great looking watch and it compliments the other big pilots as well:

That is a beautiful watch. Now, if it were 40mm and hand-wind, it would be irresistible for me.

A watch I recently tried on while in Japan, it really is beautiful. Great photo's thanks for sharing.

Handsome timepiece.
I am sure our Singapore and Hong Kong friends will shortly start to receive their pieces and I look forward to seeing their posts too.
My latest addition.
Yesterday I picked up my 48 mm Heritage Pilot watch at my AD Haesevoets in Waregem-Belgium.
Great looking watch and confortable on the wrist.

I am wondering why IWC would make such a big strap that does not fit small wrist size (6.5") like me?
I was told that it will only comes in one size and I guess when mine 48mm arrive, the beautiful strap will never be use at all :-(
Hope IWC could introduce some variation for the strap length.
Oh yes, for those who have collected the watch, can you enlighten me why does the crown spring backward slightly when you release the crown after wounding it? Is that a mechanism to prevent from over winding?
If you decide to sell that strap, please reach out to me :)

27 October Heritage 55 GTG with MarkL, Captain and the Singapore gang in Hong Kong. A rare chance to see 5 together. Hope Erwin will post a report soon. :)

The original straps will stay in the box forever. :)
