No hint to front or back ?!

    This ref. 5409 has no mark for front / back, as long as it is closed.

    But if the pusher in the middle of the crown gets pushed, the front cover opens and further pushing opens the back cover.

    So, it is always exciting to open it and get surprised, which cover will open first.

    As far as I know, only some modern PWs have this tricky opening mechanism, or ?

    I think, usually a personal engraving is visible on the front cover, but I am very happy to have this pocket watch without any personal engraving.

    Sorry for boring most of you with such stupid old technologies :-)

    Boring ! How very boring!

    Go on BORE me all you want !!!! What a magnificent IWC and indeed a hidden feature that I did not know off.
