So I called the new South Coast Boutique Saturday to see if the new Port Chrono's and 40mm Inge were in yet. I was informed that they would be delivered and available on Monday in time for the store opening. I was kindly invited to come in anytime Monday to see them and try on.
I was so excited over the weekend and couldn't wait. I arrived at the Boutique today just before noon and to my surprise, Mall Security as well as the Police were all over the place inside talking to employees and what looked like customers. Obviously I could not find someone to assist me as everything was in chaos. I finally was able to talk to a customer and was told that the Boutique was just robbed and the thieves got away with an estimate $600,000 worth of IWC's.
I located one of the employees and had a chance to find out that yes indeed they were robbed and the thugs took all the new merchandise that was delivered this morning plus some very hard to get exclusives.
I was so upset...all the new Port's and Inge's were taken in the robbery. My excitement turned quickly to disappointment and anger. Thankfully no one was hurt or injured.
As things started to settle down, I got to speak with one of the cops for a few moments and he gave me some general details about what happened. Another officer joined us and he got on his radio and was updating information about the incident. I got to hear his description update.
They were looking for 3 suspects with a lot of free time on their hands !
