    Dear Fellow Forummers,

I've had my new IW377704 for some 5 weeks now. It runs beautifully and a joy to admire. However, just today, i noticed blisters or bubbles under the paint of the watchface at the ten o'clock and three o'clock positions where previously, the entire timepiece was flawless.

My first assessment is one of water damage even though i have treated it with the same consideration as my Ti GST which i have had since 2003 without issue. Condensation does not form on the inside of the watchglass when exposed to cold which nonetheless does not exclude water ingress.

Are there any other reports of such an issue?

    Regards
    Omar

It's difficult to assess what may or what may have caused the damage, but it is not right. I would send it back for service and a re-dial. It is impossible to know what conditions the dial has experienced once it left the factory. There is no reason to doubt your claim of tender loving care. Hopefully, a dial replacement is still under warranty.

    Welcome to the forum Omar.
It's a pity that you were not here under a more positive scenario - but I hope that your sad story will end in a positive way.

You need to bring it back to your dealer and seek advice. Sending back to IWC for their inspection and hopefully reset back to new status will be possible under the warranty.

Good luck. Please come back - hopefully with good news of having your great watch restored back to original intended condition.
