One of the items on my bucket list is to pick grapes at a major wine harvest (all right, I'll admit it's not everyone's idea of fun). I'm going to a boutique winery in Napa, Fantesca, that produces some of the best Cabernets in the world, in my opinion. But they only produce less than 750 cases, all of which are sold out immediately by subscription.

I'm on the plane now...and which watch to wear? Having thought about it this one may be perfect:

Its steel bracelet will avoid the sweat and dirt, but the watch still has an idiosyncratic class befitting the occasion...and a lunch at the vineyard afterwards.

Harvesting is a fantastic choice for an outdoors weekend, I'm sure you'll enjoy it a lot, Michael.

I just hope they don't make you pick up to many grapes, or you might get too tired to enjoy the lunch. ;-)

My best wishes for a lot of enjoyment in both the harvest and the degustation!

The DaVinci looks great on your wrist.

Great weekend to be in the Bay Area. Boat Races, Blue Angels, Baseball Playoffs, Blue Grass Festival and lots of stompin' of all kinds. Enjoy the fruits of your labor.

PS: When you have a chance, can you PM me the name of the winery?

    Thank you,
    Larry

Actually, Michael, this is my idea of heaven. I only just returned from a tour of Santa Barbara wine country, and now all I can think about is how/when I can start my own winery.

(Next year I'll be hitting Paso Robles and Napa.)

Travel safe and have a wonderful time!

    Regards,
    Adam

PS - You definitely chose the right watch.
