An excellent picture of a very nice ingenieur. ref 3239 And i like the second hand very much with the wider part towards the end. Reminds me also of the Aquatimer. But is this one with metal or gold colloured hour markers ?

I guess you are referring at the red paddle on the seconds hand. There is one thing I would change on all the Ingenieurs: putting more lume on the markers and the hands.

    Kind regards,
    Paul

Really? So you can't see that I have had the tip of the second hand painted red?

Sorry Denesa, i missed that red, thought it was a reflection of flash of some sort.

Bringing a touch of color to 3239 is a good idea. However, in my opinion, the red pointer would look better with a black dial. For white dial, I'd prefer a blue pointer.

That would have been my first choice as well, but my watchmaker did not have blue paint.
