I believe a couple of weeks ago in a posting the mention of the possibility of a "Blue Santoni" was either now available or was shortly coming. I think also (Kevin?) was going to verify the info @ the Boutique or thru a contact.

Has a Blue Santoni been verified as of yet? I'm quite sure many of us would love to see one as an option. This would be a complement to many pieces in our collections.

My thought for a upcoming Portuguese Chrono Classic Silver dial with it's blue seconds counter hand would be to pair it with a Blue Santoni. The thought of the Silver dial/Markers and that blue seconds hand would be a knockout pairing.

    Hoping,

    Andy

    Andy,
I have checked w the staff & management at the NYC Bouique and they are checking with Schaffhausen as no one in North America IWC Corporate knew anything about it. So,we do not have a definitive answer at this time, but I will continue to follow up and report when something more is known.

Sure hope we can get that blue strap.

    Regards,
    Kevin

I'm with you Kevin. With Santoni's unique grain and shade finishing, a blue addition would be so cool. I can think of a number of pieces where it could be used...I'll bet your Laureus collection would welcome it !

Should you find out it's not happening, remind them who you are, Mr. IWC. And when Mr. IWC needs something , well they need to back for a re-evaluation. LOL

Thanks Kevin for following up on this. Can't seem to get the thought that Black, Lt. brown and Dk. Brown Santoni's are available and Blue isn't since it's used as a OEM color on many offerings.

IWC, we need our dose of blue in the form of Santoni !

As far as I know, it's wishful thinking and an Internet rumor. Sorry.

Buzzkill on that news. Hey Michael, if there was a strong desire from Forum members for a Blue Santoni, would you be able to lobby the right contact for us?

I think you will have to find an aftermarket substitute until someone in the strap department lights the blue light.
