Hey Nad, u make me miss London a whole lot more with your pics! Great stuff. I got my itinerary wrong, and I think we will just miss each other in Munich - we may even be at the airport at the same time :). Will catch u in HK. Enjoy Ocktoberfest - Munich is piping with festivities already.

Novice question, admittedly, but how do PCs go as travel pieces when you have time zone changes back and forth? I would think that every arrival was potentially dangerous. Great pics BTW.

Actually, you bring up a good point.

In general, they are not good travel pieces. If it is more than an hour or two difference I usually don't bother changing the time on these. I almost always travel with at least two watches. If I have a PPC I might wait til midday to change the time when you can't screw up the mechanism.

I would normally not bring this watch over several time zones!

However, I was moving East and so it was easy to just advance the time by 5 hours in London and just one more hour upon reaching Munich (GMT +1).

I will pull the crown to stop the movement when heading back and that will bring me to a good place to re-set the time.
