This is a dream that just won't seem to die, no matter how often IWC throws cold water on it. Change the center minutes to digital (like the hour) in the space occupied by the power reserve, change the B&R to IWC, and it's all there!

Lange made it and since it belongs to Richemont too I find this very unlikely to happen, I keep the faith though.
It sure would be nice and a big seller if they listened.

Shing my friend you are right, imagine the geography, (actually the politics involved), Lange made quite a comeback, of course IWC and G.Blumlein sure helped a lot. I remember Herr Klaus' stories about his travels to Glashutte to help rebuild the manufacture. But behind everything is Richemont Group. So the synergies between the manufactures become inevitable and obvious. IWC uses Piaget movements like it used JLC at the past as it also helped RL with its own.
agreed. for me, it is a matter of time before a jumping hour / minute - and hopefully date :) will be manufactured by IWC.
especially considering calire 89800 has already been developed...
I've said it before and I'll say it again - if IWC were to bring out a Pallweber it would immediately enter my wish list at the number 1 spot.
And I would place my order ASAP. Even changing out my old car for a new one would have to be delayed :-)

The fact that Lange has the Zeittimer would not / does not prevent our favourite marquee from bringing a jump digit to the table. 1001 other factors at play, but not the fact that Lange has a jump digit on the market.
Besides, in terms of pure sales volumes - an IWC jump digit would far outsell the Lange.
Schaffhasen - please do consider this.
I know I am repeating myself but... The Lange Zeitwerk would be on my wrist if it was reasonably priced. How to reasonably price it? Easy! Make it in steel or titanium. Make it look more Palweber like. There are many who would buy one at a more sane price point.
I'd place my order the day a reasonably priced steel unit were announced

Don't hang by your thumbs waiting for Lange to come out with a stainless steel case. I have a strong hunch that that would not be in keeping with their grand luxe image.
Thank Heaven for IWC: superb quality but more affordable. If IWC used only precious metals, I'd probably still be saving up for one.
