Hello dear friends,
I have had many watches and also many IWCs in my collection and on my arm, but
since a few days I have been wearing one that I would like to call a nearly
perfect watch.
The Portgieser Perpetual Calendar has always been an exciting watch. I
was,particularly taken with the rose or red gold versions. And the ingenious
mechanism, which goes back to Kurt Klaus, inspires me just as much as the
movement itself.
And then all
these details that you can hardly get enough of.
I was lucky
enough to find one of the first Ref. 5021 watches from 2003, still with the
50611 calibre.
And since
Idon't like watches that are either too sensitive or not waterproof - I wear
them all the time - I'm glad that you can go swimming with the PPC.
it just
always makes you happy, whether you're in the water or in the city....
