Pilot's Watch Mark XVII

I'm planning on changing my Mark XVI for a Mark XVII when they become available later in the year. The strap on my Mark XVI is a Father & Son strap which I would like to keep for the Mark XVII. Can anyone tell me if the lug gaps on the two watches are the same.

Your Father and Son will work fine. From what I've heard the XVII is 20mm, same as the XVI.

If anyone has heard different, please correct me.

Thanks Andy. The only reason I thought they may be different is that IWC have increased the case diameter from 39mm on the Mark XVI to 41mm on the Mark XVII. If the lug remains the same then that will be great.
