    Hi all,

Here is my Time Lapse video of the date change process on my Pisa Portuguese Perpetual.

While keeping a close eye on the live stream from Ardoise, I checked my proceedings too. The 5022 was a few minutes sooner to switch over so for a minute or so I was worried a bit. For me, this was the first year change of a Perpetual!

Youtube video of the date change

    Kind regards,

    Clemens

Clemens, typically I refer to watches that appeal to me as "handsome timepieces".

However, as this video clip proves - that PISA of yours is just plain BEAUTIFUL!

    Great clip - loved it.

Clemens, I have watched this again and again. So much to see going on in such a small period of time. Absolutely amazing.

Great video Clemens, thanks. Watching a Perpetual changing date is simply amazing, and your PISA is simply stunning.

I had my KKDV and my blue PPC with me (and watching the Perpetucast in parallel - LoL). The KKDV changed date 4 min before midnight (similar to your PISA)

whereas the PPC had completed the change 1 min after midnight:

I want more Perpetuals in front of me for the date change 2013/2014 - LoL

Thanks for the compliments, it was fun to do. Some technical details: one picture every 3 seconds, 801 pictures in total. Resolution 720p. Rendered to mp4 format with 25 frames per second. The soundtrack is provided by Youtube and I used the keyword 'time' to search something appropriate.

    Kind regards,

    Clemens
