i am looking at purchasing what looks like a portofino from the 1990's.
the watch is a quartz? has IWC producted a quartz watch? it carries this number on the back 2582307. is there a link to authenticate the watch serial number?
the movement statedon the inside of the clock is 3513 1

The case number corresponds to about 1994, but the reference no. on the caseback (3513) suggests an automatic Portofino with a completely different dial. I've no idea about the movement, others more knowledgeable than me may comment, but looks like a fake to me.

This is leaning out a bit but I´m sorry to disappoint you. The case looks real but the restz of the watch is a fake, the dial however is very well done.
