    Dear forum members,

When i was casually sitting on the couch two days ago the bottom chronograph button of my watch instantly fell off. It's not broken (i guess) because the screw still seems to be intact. Should i take it to an authorised dealer anyways? To have it checked for water-proofness and to have it securely fastened? Are there any other forum members experiencing this problem?

Im under the impression i can take the watch to any authorised dealer i want if i bring the warranty card right? Or should it be taken to the shop i bought it in?

    Thanks,

    Desmin

    Desmin,

Sorry to hear about that. Yes, you can take it to any IWC AD, and if the watch is still under warranty you should bring the warranty card and they will take care of you. You don't have to bring it back to the store where you bought it, the warranty is world wide.

If I were you I would indeed get it repaired and checked if any of the buttons have fallen off. Both to make sure the watch is still waterproof and also to make sure the button is properly fastened and avoid the risk of suddely losing it completely when you are not paying attention.

    Good luck!!
