So now I want to know more about my new one- its caliber belongs to the 98000 family...so the current 5454 family of Portuguese hand wound models with caliber 98295 is equipped with 18 jewels, while the Portuguese Regulateur (caliber 98245) carries 22 jewels....can someone explain exactly where are the extra 4 jewels located ?
    cheers,
    yitzhak

There is an auxiliary plate under the dial to carry the intermediate minute wheel and hour indicator wheel. The wheels run in jewelled bearings(2 each) hence the additional 4 jewels.
