    I enjoy using the search bar to help educate myself. As my interest in learning increases about IWC's, sometimes the various search words I use may not populate any assistance for my subject matter.

    Such is the case for my inquiry regarding "Pushers". Please direct me with keywords if there is a existing post/s that address my request.

    My focus is to find out the "industry names" ( if there are ones ) of the various types of Pushers used by IWC. It would also be grand if closeup's of various Pushers could be posted.

    As my collection grows, it calls for more Chrono models. I find the unique design of the different Pushers to be works of art.

    Is there specific names to these various designs or is it as simple as .... Pushers.

    Thanks for any input,

    Andy

    I'm not sure what the correct technical term is. I generally hear pushers referred to as "Authorized Dealers" or "Boutiques".

    I borrowed this photo from Nad's post.

    Hi Andy,

    If you google Chronograph Watch, Push, Pusher Buttons - some, or all of them, I think u will find what you need to know.

    My habit and routine is to go to technical watch sites, in particularly those reputable watch-makers or jewelry suppliers who sell watch parts, to check on the correct terminology.

    As a colloquial term, I've heard the style of pushers used by IWC first on its Portuguese chronos called 'hammerhead" pushers.

    And we forum'ers are all winders, otherwise known as enablers :)

    @Dick...LOL, very funny !

    @Shing...thanks for the road map.

    @Michael.."Hammerhead" fits perfectly for my 3714 pushers. Didn't know if there was a special name given for the Pilot pushers.

    Thanks All,

    Andy

    @Cellar....Thanks for the reply...a new word for my vocabulary.

    @Shing.... I know IWC produces large models, but what's the diameter of the Chrono those "Bollards" are on ?
