Question about deploy buckle- Portgueser Chrono

My first post about my first IWC.

Hope someone can help.

I find the edge on the buckle above the IWC engravement and the top edge very sharp. Hope you understand what I mean.

Is this normal?

As per my experience, it depends on the metal. I've had some "Razor blades" but others are as smooth as silk. If it is a problem for you or your cufflink shirts, bring it back to the IWC boutique or your dealer and try to get a replacement or have it treated.
