    Hi Guys,

I just got new IWC Pilot's Chronograph Edition „Le Petit Prince" IW377714
    based on IWC 79320 mechanism.

    This is my first IWC.

Heart is based on ETA and I do have many watches with ETA automatic but
observed one strange thing in IWC.

Without unscrewing the crown to wind up the watch, I just put it on my wirst
    and start wearing.

It takes him like a few minutes to start clocking despite rotor winds up from
    the very beginning.

In my other ETA based watches clock starts after 10 secondof wearing... when I
    just do like that.

Is it kind of IWC modyfication of ETA?

Or maybe IWC must be wind up manually bu unscrewing the crown before I start?

Or maybe sth is wrong with my piece?

    Best

    Piotr

    Hi Piotr

When you read your manual, you will see that IWC recommends winding the watch
between 20 to 30 turns of the crown before wearing, if it has run down.

I concur with Fleminger, manually wind it as much as possilbe after the
movenement has stopped. The automatic feature, is not desinged to wind the
watch from a dead stop to full wind. It will keep a watch wound while
    wearing.
