I had the pleasure of recently viewing the Vintage Collection (with the exception of the Portofino). All of the pieces are amazing and the Aquatimer will soon be added to my modest collection. The Inge and Port were also on my "short list" but I can't shake the vision of an Anthracite-dialed Inge in the future that would be a must buy.
In viewing the collection, however, I was curious to note that the first three in the series included the relevant date, i.e., Fliegeruhr 1936, Portuguese 1939, and Ingenieur 1955. However, both the Aquatimer and Da Vinci omitted the date. And from Nicky's AMAZING pictures and video, it appears that some Ingenieurs have been produced without the "1955" reference. Does anyone know more about this variance?
