    Hi

I'm new to this forum :-)

I have a question regarding the power reserve dial on the Big Pilot, ref. 500912.

When looking at images on IWC and zooming in to the dial, it looks as if the power reserve dial has a lot of thin circular lines - Click on the image, and then a couple of times on the zoom(+) button:

    www.iwc.com/en/collection/pilots/IW500912/#enlarge/variation-1/front/zoom-3

But, when looking at regular images of the 500912, they don't seem to have the thin circular lines in the dial. This is just a random image after a google search:

What is the reason for this?

    Cheers

Hello Brose - the thin circular lines are there, the details are just not easily captured in a photograph.

    Hi Ben

    Thank you.

I see them now - Not with naked eye but I took a photo with my iPhone and zoomed in to the image and now they appear. They really are thin, so no wonder they don't show up in regular wrist shots :-)

This is a CU of the Power Reserve sundial on the DFB BP. The lines are there.

    And on the 5002 BP
