Does IWC make Aquatimer quick-change rubber straps in any color besides blue and black? I have a blue/white Aquatimer with blue strap. Thanks.

A Orange strap was made in years past and for the life of me I cannot find the reference number.

Forum member Bas Deckkers provided us with that information and hopefully will see this and be able to supply it once again.

If you go to the search bar ( magnifying glass, upper black bar ) and use the search words "AT Orange Strap" scroll down to "Pictures Please" and this will at least give you a view of the orange model.

The subject of offering additional colors for the "quick change" rubber strap has been discussed on numerous occasions. So far, no new choices. Perhaps IWC will catch wind that there is a demand for variety since it is a proprietary strap and we AT owners would love some more color options.

    We can only hope,

    Andy

To my knowledge, only back or blue rubber straps have been offered by IWC.

Thanks, Andy. I think couple of color options would be beneficial - maybe a white strap for the blue/white AT chrono. Just a thought.

Good thought ! I would also like to see a nice shade of gray as one option. I think it would be a great neutral color that would pair well with your Blue/White Chrono, the AT 2000 white dial and the LE grey dial Jacque Cousteau Chrono. Another would be a deep deep red which I feel complements a number of AT's. OK...one more....yellow !

    Wishing and hoping,

    Andy

I think some more colour choices would be a good thing.

There are plenty of pictures of the orange strap, but I think the reference number was sent by pm to the member asking for it.

    Andy,
there are a couple other wishes just open to fulfil in connection with the AT strap systems - just to name a few, in order of (my) importance:
    - quick micro adjust clasp for the steel bracelet
    - croc and/or gator straps (at least black, blue, maybe also brown for the white-dial time-only and the Cousteau, with folding clasps, possibly double-pusher ones) for "occasions". Task could be outsources, e. g. to Hirsch, that has experience in making different end pieces
    - folding clasp for the rubber straps, again possibly double-pusher ones
    - wider Velcro (at least 20 mm instead of 18.5-19 but with an end-piece re-design this can go up to 22 mm)
And of course I fully agree with the need of a wider choice of rubber strap colors - don't think me crazy I'd be also happy with a brown one, that would go well with the ardoise dial of my Cousteau Chrono...
    Hope never dies...
    Best,
    Robert

Which strap length does this reference number cover? (I'd be happy with the shorter one I think, that is the length that comes with new AT-s on rubber.) First line is the strap reference, while 2nd line is that of the watch I think. Do part reference numbers not begin with "IWA"?
