    Hi everyone,

I just bought a Ref. 3280 that was described as defective. When I received the watch, I noticed that something seemed loose, which I had kind of expected. However, when I tried to set the time, I found that it wouldn't function. I opened the case and discovered that the loose piece was only the tubus. However, I then found that it has a Cal. 3254 instead of a Cal. 3251, which means that it has a date function and centre seconds. However, the watch doesn't display either of these, so I think that they might have been replaced at some point during its 40+ year history.

The other issue is that the click and/or the click spring is defective, so the rotor spins on its own and the watch doesn't hold a wind. Can someone help me decipher this watch? :-) Thanks a lot in advance!

P.S. I found out that, to set the time, I need to pull the crown to its second position because the first out position is for a date that doesn't exist.
