I have been wearing my 3706 on the bracelet it came with for a long time and am thinking of switching it to a strap once in a while. I read some of the other posts on this forum and elsewhere about the removal of the bracelet and am still having problems getting it off.

What i can currently get done is push out 1 side of the spring bar by dislodging it using a spring bar tool while gently pushing the bracelet up from the other side (watch is face down when i do this). Because of the tight fit of the bracelet, it looks like I will have to somehow use the spring bar tool to dislodge the other side as well and then the bracelet will slide upwards and be removed. So far i have been unsuccessful in dislodging the other side as the side that has already been dislodged can very easily slip back into the lug hole bringing me back to square one. Are there any secrets to getting this done easily? I could bring it to the AD but i suspect that i will be switching back and forth between the bracelet and diff straps so prefer to learn how to do it myself.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

It is indeed difficult to loosen those spring bar mounted bracelets.

I use a tiny sharp screws driver to loosen the spring bars.

But is needs some experience to handle it.

    Good luck.

Thanks Hebe for the quick reply! So do you do one side at a time? The little gap where the spring bars are exposed at the back of the bracelet near the lugs seems smaller than the smallest spring bar fork tool i have which is about 1mm. I will try and give it another go tomorrow.
