Does anyone know when the 2008 Saint Ex UTC is going to start being delivered to ADs here in the Western USA, specifically Los Angeles, CA?

I prepaid for mine and am super anxious to get it.

For anyone that does have pictures of it, please post some, it may just tide my anxiety or maybe fuel it even further.

    they are dribbling in, but....

your best bet is to contact the dealer, who can check with IWC. The problem is that not all dealers get the same inventory at the same time, even within the same geographic area. There often are "A list" dealers, especially ones who have placed large orders and have done so for some time.

By the way, this model was really a hit at the L.A. Watchtime event. Aside from good looks, I think a lot of potential buyers really liked its pricepoint.

    Good luck.
    Michael
P.S. I 'd guess, without checking, that some photos exist in archived posts, especially with SIHH coverage.
    P.S. I haven't checked bu

Saw it in Geneva. Quite the stunning watch...

Just a picture from the display case. Congrats on buying it, you wouldn't be disappointed.

Called my AD yesterday as I prepaid as well. Guess I just need to wait, but grateful my guy has one coming in at least. Best of luck.

    Hopes dashed.....

I too ordered mine in SS and have been anxiously awaiting it's arrival. Then this happens....

I get a phone call yesterday from my AD that the watch is in, WOO HOO. I cancel all my afternoon appointments and speed (about an hour away) to the AD to claim my precious timepiece. I park four blocks from the store, as its located in a busy downtown area and nearly break in to a jog in typical south Florida summer day (95 degree heat with 90 % humidity) wearing a suit and tie. I round the corner and see the store and head in quickly to find my lovely sales person smiling with the IWC box. (She had seen me coming)

My heart is now pounding after the brisk walk and the high level of excitement when she suddenly says "oh no".
I ask "whats wrong" and she informs me that she made a mistake and didn't realize that the watch she recieved is the WG version and not the SS one I ordered..AAAAAAAAAAAArgh!

What a roller coaster of emotion. I regained my composure and caught my breath and politely asked to see the watch anyway as I had not seen one in person.

Suffice it to say that the watch is even better than I thought. It is beautiful and very well perportioned. I tried it on and knew that I had made a great choice.

I know that the experience was not what I had hoped for and that the whole excercise will be repeated once my watch now comes in, but seeing the watch live and knowing what it will now look like my anticipation is even more than before. For those that have not gone to see one and can do so I truly suggest the trip. I know it will become a highly sought after model

    Carlos,

I am almost sure i would do the exact same thing you did if my AD calls me. I have not seen it in person either but the photos that i have seen can't even begin to describe seeing it in real life.

We need a support group for this. hahaha
I hope we get our watch soon.
    Best Regards,
    Tony

What a dissapointment.. It would almost make you get a second mortgage on your house to get the WG one..

    Good luck with the waiting..

How close were you to buying the gold version?

I bet you at least thought about it. And how your wife would kill you if you did.
