Looks like an all-time bad one. I don't know if it would be better to choose an Aquatimer to resist possible 10 inches of rain (yes, that's 25cm!) or your heaviest (platinum?) watch to provide ballast against the wind.
Whatever you put on your wrist, very best wishes to our friends on the
US East Coast and likely-to-be affected inland areas. I hope the storm is less severe than predicted and that everyone gets through in good shape.

Dick - are they predicting that it will reach as far west as Central Ohio? What I read simply said "...the Ohio Valley..." which is a bit ambiguous.
Oh, and it's gotta be the AT -- find a bank on top of a hill and put the platinum in the vault.

Right now its the calm before the storm. The current forecast is for the storm to hit directly between Bill's and my location in central NJ so it will be an AT for the next couple of days.
We expect to be without power for 24 hours or so, see you on the other side of the storm. Bill, Alan, Adam & Dick be safe.

I've been hauling camera equipment out of my basement just in case. It's the calm before the storm right now. If we're out of power, it may be a few days before Kevin or I can report back. My watches are in a safe on the second floor of my house.

Was in Petersburg, VA. Now in Savannah, GA. Considering what we have heard it was an unbelievably good move. Needed every bit of luck to have pulled it off before storm hit.

Sandy is being called one of the worst storms ever, a Superstorm, Frankenstorm. But no matter how powerful, she is no match for IWC's weapon of choice.....Strap on the Deep Two.

Survived Sandy with all IWC safe and sound. The eye of the storm passed over our area about 19.00 last night. It's pretty calm, but rainy this morning. We didn't lose power, which normally happens in wind events. Now, I have to go out and check our place for exterior damage now that it's daylight.
