Can someone please explain what is the difference between a Santoni intended for tang buckle and one for deployant?

Someone had posted a link to the dealer workbook page(s) for Santoni straps, but I can't seem to find it. Can anyone help me out with that?

    Thanks!

different lengths, for both long and short sides, is the key difference.

this one is for deployant, courtesy of forummer Bob Bunnik

also, this is not exhaustive, but pulled from earlier posts-

    references
Santoni black iwa54873 Standard length, folding buckle
Santoni black iwa54580 Standard length, pin buckle

    pin buckle lengths:
Santoni XL length measures: 125 by 85 mm
Santoni standard length measures: 115 by 75 mm.

if u use the top right magnifying glass search function you will be able to dig out more Santoni information.

    Dick,

Beware of the page that was posted from the dealer workbook. I used a ref number from that page when I was trying to find a Santoni and was told that it didn't exist. I was later told by staff at one of the boutiques that the ref numbers sometimes change.

If you are going to use a deployant clasp, definitely get the deployant version of the strap - it will position the clasp perfectly on your wrist.

    Good luck with your search.
