The IWC 2011/2012 catalogue shows the Santoni straps are made of alligator leather in black, dark brown and brown, however you would need to check the lug size for the 2701. There are many posts on Santoni straps in the archives, and others will know more on any recent developments.

The Santoni straps are for the Portofino 8 day HW which has 22mm lugs and 18mm buckle, the straps can be selected for pin or deployment buckle and likewise long medium or short. The page I have seen in the dealers book showed the two shades of brown only.
Whether the Santoni connection extends beyond the above in the future remains to be seen.

Okay, I am giving this post a second lease of life. Nobody on the forum picked this up and nobody on the forum has posted a photo of their watch, which is a great shame. Now go and ferret around and find what model has been mentioned.

BSX, hopefully you are reading this, but we need photos of this model as never seen anyone post any of their watch.

    It's rather special!!

Thanks for that Shing, now if we can only get BSX to show lots of photos of his watch. By the way it's an auto and yet the weight seems off centered.
